This Position reports to: Gestionnaire en approvisionnement et log

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a functional team responsible for carrying out accurate and timely procurement activities, including transactional purchasing, e‑sourcing, data management, and reporting. You will ensure execution in compliance with company guidelines and procurement procedures, while driving improvements in cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the purchasing team, ensuring efficient execution of procurement activities and compliance with company guidelines.
  • Optimize costs, quality, delivery, and working capital through the rigorous application of group procurement standards.
  • Oversee the implementation and performance of supply chain systems, including SAP Ariba.
  • Reduce risks related to quality and financial exposure by enforcing commercial and quality procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and recommending process enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to ABB’s core values, safety, integrity, and compliance standards in all activities.
  • Foster collaboration across divisions and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
Requirements
  • More than 5 years of experience in personnel management, with proven leadership skills.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in procurement/supply chain management, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba and supply chain systems.
  • University degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively. French is required. English is also required for regular communication with clients outside Quebec.
