Position: Supply Chain Inventory Analyst

Position Summary
  • Responsible for managing inventory items (approx. 7000) to ensure adequate inventory levels to support hospital operations
  • Conduct monthly inventory data analysis and calculate appropriate min/max levels as required in the system, in consultation with Sourcing and Manager
  • Leads daily and weekly cycle count process
  • Prepares and organizes warehouse for annual inventory process
  • Responsible for setup of new inventory items
  • Work on projects for future enhancements in Supply Chain
  • Assist I.T. in the set up and maintenance of printers and/or handhelds
  • Responsible for system testing for Logistics department related to upgrades and patches within Infor
  • Liaise with I.T. staff and the vendor regarding system configurations, errors, troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Provide inventory advice on stock rotation, min/max level, and par establishments to other departments as required
  • ensure inventory is accurate and that replenishment of inventory is done in a timely manner
  • Extract reports for the Supply Chain Logistics team as required
  • Train and support all staff on the use of the Infor SCM and MSCM applications
  • Recommend system improvements to improve efficiency
  • Responsible for updating inventory locations within system, as well as ensuring transfers between sites are accurate and complete
  • Develop custom reports and BI cubes to assist staff with daily workload
  • Works alongside Sourcing Analyst, and acts as primary back up coverage for vacation and time off
  • Acts as the department Lead in absence of the Manager
  • Support the month end close process each month
  • Monitor the mobile supply chain management (MSCM) application for errors, unprocessed shipments and outstanding pick tickets
  • Monitor the CSF application for unreleased receiving adjustments
  • Monitor scheduled jobs in the CSF and MSCM application
  • Perform data uploads to Infor system
  • Help maintain clean, organized and safe warehouse
Position Requirements
  • Post secondary diploma in purchasing, inventory, supply chain or business administration with a focus on supply chain
  • Minimum 2 year recent work experience in supply chain, preferably with logistics/inventory.
  • Related work experience in a complex environment is required, preferably within the health care sector
  • Experience using Infor supply chain management software is preferred
  • Knowledge of purchasing and materials management is an asset
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills are required
  • Ability to work independently on on-going assignments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a proven track record in building and maintaining cross functional relationships
  • Requires significant computer skills and expertise in various data management and reporting technologies and practices
