Summary

Reporting to the Team Leader, the main responsibility of the Supply Chain Analyst is to run a series of reports/tools facilitating decisions in the Supply Chain. Through creating automating processes, this role will evolve into more predictive analysis of supply chain events.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Run and analyze reports using tools such as SAP IBP to support data-driven decision-making across the Supply Chain.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of material and information flow within the internal FGF supply chain network.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing to develop and maintain an accurate Sales Forecast that drives production planning.
  • Support new product introductions from a supply chain planning perspective, ensuring seamless integration into forecasting and production cycles.
  • Understand and anticipate the impact of customer promotions, product transitions, demand trends, and seasonal fluctuations on supply and demand planning.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and performance, adjusting future forecasts in collaboration with the Sales team based on insights and trends.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analyses to support strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects by working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Business, preferable with focus on Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills is a must
  • VBA, R or any other language for statistical computing and data visualization would be a strength
  • Ability to reliably commute to the Toronto office for work
