Join to apply for the Supervisor, Distribution role at Grainger Canada.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Edmonton, Alberta, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation and leadership of the team.
  • Lead team members to meet or exceed service commitments, productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Support company values by encouraging innovation, accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
  • Develop team members through coaching, communication, and team building while holding them accountable.
  • Manage daily workload and resources to meet performance metrics.
  • Foster a safe and respectful work environment promoting full participation and a positive attitude.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and recognize opportunities for change.
  • Ensure team has necessary tools and that they are maintained properly.
  • Oversee inventory security during shifts.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation such as WHMIS, TDG, WSIB, and ensure compliance.
Education / Experience
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehousing, with a focus on internal and external customer service.
  • Proven ability in coaching, team building, and hands-on leadership.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills with a proactive and organized approach.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Experience in high-volume warehouse operations and systems.
  • Post-secondary diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
