Overview

Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge, Jasper, AB

Salary: $17–$19 an hour. Job type: Full-time. Location: Jasper, AB. This is a seasonal property with housekeeping positions starting May 7, June 1 and June 15, 2025 until October 2025.

For our international applicants, please note we do not have any LMIA spots available at this time. The lodge is in a very busy remote location and the cabins are outside with lots of walking each day.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Keep your cart stocked and ready.
• Make beds, change sheets and towels, and restock guest room supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs.
• Check and refill amenities such as soap, shampoo, and lotion.
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
• Assist with laundry or room checking as needed.
• Daily cleaning of public washrooms in the main lodge.
• Light cleaning of other areas of the lodge if needed.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right candidates.
• Willingness to work outside.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work in a busy remote location and the outdoor cabins with lots of walking each day.

Compensation

Wage: $17–$19 per hour plus bonuses.

Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.

Completion Bonus: If the contract is completed you will receive $1 for every hour worked, plus a bonus that will cover the cost of your rent.

Referral Bonus: $500 if both your contract and your referrals contract are completed.
