As a Summer Student for our company, you will have an opportunity to work with various animal health professionals in a business, clinical and research environment. Moreover, this is a great way to gain exposure to our company’s Animal Health’s business offerings, providing valuable learning opportunities and exposure for young professionals with an interest in poultry or swine.

Summer Student, Scientific Marketing Affairs – Animal Health – Swine
In this role your project would consist of:
  • Participation in a research project in support of swine disease management.
  • Engagement with our company’s project leader throughout the summer project.
  • Hands on engagement and training on our company’s devices.
  • Entering and analyzing data collected.
  • Preparing a report to be presented to our company’s Animal Health and partner and/or a relevant local/provincial association in Ontario (ex. OAPV, OASV, AVIA).
Qualifications:
  • Interest in swine medicine.
  • Interest in population medicine.
  • Full-time veterinary student at the Ontario Veterinary College.
  • Must be available for summer student mandate (6 consecutive weeks between May and August).
  • Able to comply with biosecurity protocols and local public health requirements.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Fluency in French is required.
Required field of study:
  • Veterinary Medicine.

Stage d’été pour étudiants en médecine vétérinaire

En tant qu’étudiant d’été dans notre entreprise, vous aurez l’occasion de travailler avec divers professionnels de la santé animale dans un environnement commercial, clinique et de recherche. De plus, ce stage constitue une excellente opportunité pour découvrir les activités de notre entreprise Santé Animale, offrant des expériences d’apprentissage précieuses et une visibilité pour les jeunes professionnels intéressés par la volaille ou le porc.

Dans ce rôle, votre projet consistera à:
  • Participer à un projet de recherche visant la gestion des maladies porcines.
  • Collaborer avec le chef de projet notre entreprise tout au long du stage.
  • Participer activement à la formation et à l’utilisation des dispositifs notre entreprise.
  • Saisir et analyser les données recueillies.
  • Préparer un rapport à présenter à notre entreprise Santé Animale et à un partenaire et/ou à une association locale/provinciale pertinente en Ontario (ex. OAPV, OASV, AVIA).
Qualifications:
  • Intérêt pour la médecine porcine.
  • Intérêt pour la médecine des populations.
  • Étudiant vétérinaire à temps plein au Collège vétérinaire de l’Ontario.
  • Disponible pour le mandat d’étudiant d’été (6 semaines consécutives entre mai et août).
  • Capacité à respecter les protocoles de biosécurité et les exigences locales de santé publique.
  • Capacité à établir et maintenir des relations de travail efficaces avec les membres de l’équipe et les équipes interfonctionnelles.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome, avec une supervision limitée.
  • Capacité à apprendre et appliquer rapidement de nouvelles informations.
  • Maîtrise des outils informatiques (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellentes compétences en communication (orale et écrite).
  • La maîtrise du français est requise.
Domaine d’études requis :
  • Médecine vétérinaire.
Exigences pour la candidature:
  • Téléverser une copie de votre relevé de notes officiel (ou non officiel).
  • Téléverser une preuve d’inscription pour le semestre d’automne 2026.
