Job Description

As Structural Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the technical and human management of the structural drafting team. You will supervise a group of 12 technicians, ensure the quality of deliverables, and act as a key liaison between engineers, external professionals, and the internal team.

Your structural expertise and leadership will be essential to the success of our projects.

What you will accomplish with us
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the technical team in the workshop
  • Plan, assign, and monitor the production tasks for structural drawings
  • Coordinate with engineers and other professionals to develop plans and specifications
  • Ensure compliance of drawings and documentation with project standards and requirements
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Support engineers in technical design and 3D modeling
  • Estimate material quantities required for projects
  • Provide technical site support when needed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and quality standards
Qualifications
  • College diploma in architecture or civil engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including team management or supervision of a technical drafting department
  • Advanced skills in Revit and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Planner)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong initiative, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to share knowledge and train team members
  • High adaptability and ability to prioritize in dynamic environments
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French, written and spoken.
