Job summary

A community care provider in Hamilton, Ontario seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to offer HR counsel on various labour and employee relations matters. Responsibilities include advising management on HR policies, supporting strategic objectives and managing employee relations matters. Candidates must have a degree in Human Resources, at least three years of HR experience, and a commitment to enhancing the employee experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years broad and progressive experience as a HR Generalist.
• Knowledge of labour/management principles and provincial employment law.
• Experience in a health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary HR point of contact for Directors and Managers.
• Provides HR advice and best practices for operational and strategic objectives.
• Anticipates changes required within the business and drives those changes.
