Overview

Strategic Finance Analyst II (Business Partnership)

We’re looking for a passionate and analytically minded professional to join our high-impact Strategic Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a deep desire to influence business decisions through data. You will have a unique opportunity to support cross-functional business leaders within the Technology organization (InfoSec & IT and Engineering) and own forecasting / budget processes, reporting and business insights to drive decision-making.

What you'll do
  • Serve as the Finance Business Partner for the InfoSec & IT and Engineering organization
  • Drive month end close, forecasting and budgeting processes, encompassing headcount and non-headcount related operating expenses
  • Own, enhance and build financial models to support forecasting processes with a focus on accuracy and deep understanding of business drivers
  • Partner directly with budget owners to develop, validate and refine forecast inputs
  • Communicate financial results, providing timely and actionable information to support critical decisions
  • Analyze trends, perform variance analysis and proactively flag issues and recommend actions
  • Continuously improve forecasting processes and drive system enhancements and data quality through automation and AI tools
What we look for
  • 2+ years experience in fast-paced FP&A role, strategic finance, or similar
  • Strong sense of ownership and curiosity with a bias for action and problem solving
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to see the big picture
  • Advanced Excel skills, capable of building reports from scratch and working with disparate data across systems
  • Prior experience with financial planning tools such as Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, or Adaptive required. Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite and SAP preferred
  • BA / BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Compensation and benefits

Base Pay Grade - I

Equity Grade - 3

CAN base pay range per year : $90,000 - $130,000. Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Affirm is a remote-first company. The majority of roles are remote and you can work almost anywhere within the country of employment. Some roles may require occasional office work.
