Overview

EMCO Strategic Development Program is a full-time entry-level position designed to prepare you for a career in sales, management, operations, or customer service. Graduates have advanced to roles such as Outside Account Manager, Profit Center Manager, Technical Sales Specialists, Purchasers, Operations Managers, and more. The program provides hands-on learning with mentoring and support to build a successful career at EMCO HVAC.

Strategic Development Program Phases

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a five phased program learning every aspect of our business from operations, to sales, purchasing, shipping and receiving, account management and everything in between.

1. Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics – Develop HVAC Product knowledge and warehouse leadership skills. Assist the sales team in coordinating projects, shipments, and receiving inventory.


2. Phase 2 – Operations – Get involved in our customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.


3. Phase 3 – Inside Sales/Project Management – Build powerful relationships with our contractors and coordinate large-scale projects.


4. Phase 4 – Outside Sales/Account Management – Learn how to find new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build new customer relationships.


5. Phase 5 – Placement – In this phase, you can take all your training and determine your ideal career path.

Salary Range: $42,500-$47,500 + Profit Sharing + Benefits + RRSP Vested Matching
