Job summary

A community-focused enterprise is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage financial operations, guide financial strategy, and lead the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business or accounting, at least 5 years of experience in senior financial management, and strong leadership skills. Proficiency in Adagio Accounting ERP and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. This role may allow for remote or hybrid work, requiring monthly travel to the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive financial management experience at a senior management level.
• Demonstrated experience in working with First Nation communities or their organizations.
• Valid Driver’s License and Access to a reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage financial activities including budgeting and reporting.
• Lead and oversee annual budgets and audit processes.
• Provide expert financial advice to CEO and Board.
