A retail management firm in Metro Vancouver seeks a Store Manager to lead teams in achieving sales targets and overseeing daily operations. Candidates should have strong leadership skills, experience in retail management, and a customer-first mindset. Drive sales results by coaching and motivating your team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
Provide hands-on sales leadership, spending significant time on the floor supporting team members and engaging with customers.
Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, merchandising standards, and staffing.
Monitor and interpret KPIs, financial reports, and sales data to identify opportunities and implement strategies for improvement.
Deliver excellent customer service by setting clear expectations, addressing issues promptly, and ensuring all staff represent the brand with professionalism.
Recruit, train, and develop team members with a focus on building selling skills, product knowledge, and operational expertise.
Maintain compliance with all company policies, operational standards, and health and safety procedures.
Collaborate with regional leaders and peers to share best practices and contribute to overall business success.
3–5 years of store management experience in retail, ideally within appliances, furniture, or home goods - big ticket.
A proven record of achieving sales goals and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills that inspire confidence and performance in others.
Proficiency with retail management systems, scheduling tools, and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus on results.
A customer-first mindset, with the ability to build strong client relationships and ensure repeat business.
