Qualifications

If so, the Stewarding Supervisor may be the perfect position balancing responsibilities for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order for all of the kitchens, dish areas and related backspaces for our dining outlets and leading a team.

Starting Rate: $27.50 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.21

Responsibilities
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts as this is a 24 hour operational department
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Stewarding Attendants, Sanitation & Recycling Attendants, Night Cleaners, and Outlet Stockers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate kitchen and banquet set-ups, maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and maintenance of kitchen equipment, dishware, and cleaning supplies.
  • Oversee scheduling and administrative tasks using Excel, Watson, and Time Enterprise.
  • Support operations, including driving the delivery van when needed and completing other assigned duties
Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience in Stewarding field required
  • Proven organizational and coaching skills
  • Class 5 Driver’s License, with a comfort level driving a company vehicle of up to 1-ton
  • Updated drivers abstract
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications word, excel, power point
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
