As a Sr. Software Engineer, Infrastructure, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance infrastructure for a cutting-edge blockchain and web3 platform. You will design, develop, and operate critical services such as API endpoints, data pipelines, indexing systems, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, including Kubernetes, distributed storage systems, and blockchain protocols, while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. You will contribute to automation, system reliability, and operational efficiency, while supporting the developer experience across the platform. The position allows you to work remotely within the U.S., engaging in meaningful projects that directly impact the platform’s scalability and user experience.

Accountabilities
  • Design, build, and deliver infrastructure software that enhances scalability, availability, latency, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and operate core infrastructure systems, ensuring reliability for production services.
  • Automate infrastructure workflows, including service lifecycle management and critical operational processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to plan, deploy, and monitor infrastructure components.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents, troubleshooting issues across the stack.
  • Provide technical input to shape the strategic direction of the infrastructure platform.
  • Support blockchain-related infrastructure, including RPC nodes, indexing services, and distributed storage.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure or platform engineering with a strong software development background.
  • Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python for building scalable services.
  • Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration systems.
  • Operational experience with distributed storage systems such as Ceph.
  • Familiarity with blockchain protocols, Ethereum, EVM‑compatible chains, and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, and debugging tools like Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with serverless platforms and cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Passion for learning emerging technologies and designing large‑scale systems.
