Description

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Sr. Marketing Manager leads Estée Lauder in Canada with extended responsibility for Darphin. The role develops and executes 360° marketing programs aligned with North America to grow sales, share, and profitability.

Product Marketing
  • Align launch and promo forecasts with Marketing Director and Planning
  • Manage monthly forecasting of samples, collateral, and non-saleables
  • Liaise with local / NOAM Planning & Ops to ensure timely delivery of assets
  • Leverage Circana and Canadian market insights to identify opportunities and inform strategy
  • Lead pricing and competitive analysis; support annual price increase process
  • Collaborate with Visual & NOAM, managing briefs and ensuring a timely launch of all merchandising programs
Trade Marketing
  • Primary liaison with NOAM Marketing to align & leverage US Program strategy
  • Manage retail calendars, seasonal presentations, and full 360 campaign / event tracking
  • Lead retailer account meetings ensuring program accuracy for launch, promotion and event planning; track results and ROI
  • Manage retailer COOP campaigns, in collaboration with Ecommerce and Consumer Engagement
  • Lead weekly / seasonal internal cross-functional calls to align with CA Brand Cluster, COE / NOAM, and Field
Consumer Marketing
  • Manage national media campaigns; support on strategy and briefings, collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Lead day-to-day agency management managing all Awareness / Lead Generation programs, creating localized assets to support media plans
  • Collaborate with PR on market initiatives
Finance
  • Plan and track fiscal budgets with Finance and retailers
  • Reconcile month-end charges with Marketing Director to ensure accuracy
Market Engagement
  • Monitor competitive activity across retail, digital, and social platforms
  • Track brand health, and lift studies to refine campaigns
Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary degree / diploma preferred
  • 6+ years relevant work experience; preferably in the cosmetic / prestige industry
  • Excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with un-prompted follow-through
  • Possesses strong digital and social media skills with a strong understanding of media planning best practices
  • Consumer-first, data-driven mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
