A leading business platform for professionals is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to build and maintain its AWS infrastructure. This role involves automating deployment processes, ensuring high-quality code delivery, and collaborating with development teams. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of relevant experience, especially in cloud operations and infrastructure management, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field. 8am is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help us build and maintain our next-generation platform. You will be a member of the Platform Engineering Organization, which is responsible for the software and infrastructure management focusing on availability, performance and security of core service layers supporting our payments platform and practice management software. We serve over 200,000 legal professionals and process over $18 billion in payments every year. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure they have the tools needed to build, test, and deploy code with ease and ensure software and quality engineer success. You will engineer and maintain configuration management environments, software delivery pipelines, IaC processes, technical governance and observability tools among other areas of platform availability.
