An innovative insurance company in Calgary seeks a Senior Casualty Claims Handler to manage complex claims and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in bodily injury and casualty litigation, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Reporting to the Leader, National Casualty and Bodily Injury Claims, you have a track record of progressively challenging claims handling. You will be accountable for the investigation, negotiation and settlement of Senior Third Party Bodily Injury and Casualty claims. This includes Automobile, Homeowners, and Commercial third party claims. You are motivated by a challenge and strive to continually develop yourself and others. You actively support change and seek to improve. You have effectively managed a portfolio of Casualty and Bodily Injury claims of increasing complexity. You continually support the Team environment and raise your hand to assist others including mentoring junior team members. You have a desire to be part of a diverse, highly engaged and high-performance team.
Salary range is $58,100 - $106,900
Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
