A part‑time employee shall be available to work 10 to 15 shifts which may include holidays and weekends. The work schedule shall be maintained as per Employer policies and CUPE 860 Collective Agreement.
Work Schedule – The Employer operates 24 hours, 7 (seven) days a week and your hours of work are based on resident needs which may include working days, afternoons, midnight and weekend shifts. It is understood and agreed that employees will work in accordance with a shift schedule. Shift schedules shall be posted at least seven (7) calendar days prior to such schedule becoming effective. The schedule shall not be changed once it has been posted unless mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the affected employee.
As a CUPE 860 position, this role is on Band 8 with a starting hourly rate of $32.43, plus additional 12% in lieu of benefits as per the collective agreement.
