Solutions Sales Executive

Are you seeking an outside sales career with a company that integrates state-of-the-art hardware, software, consulting, and support services? Ricoh Canada Inc. is a leading provider of document solutions. Our fully integrated hardware and software products help businesses share information efficiently by controlling document input, management, and output.

The Solution Sales Executive must have a deep understanding of Ricoh's Office Technology and Office Services portfolio to differentiate solutions for customers. The primary goal is to drive new market share, retain existing clients, and expand sales revenue within an assigned account base. Responsibilities include managing the full sales process from initial contact to closing deals, requiring strong prospecting, communication, presentation, and closing skills.

We seek someone dedicated, responsible, conscientious, and sociable to develop strong customer partnerships.

Note: This role is based in Edmonton, with ongoing travel to Jasper, Hinton, Grande Prairie, Grande Cache, and Edson.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Find and close deals. Be outgoing, personable, and passionate about our business.
  2. Develop and pursue sales strategies to protect Ricoh's existing customer base and find new business opportunities in your region.
  3. Gain a strong understanding of our products and services to demonstrate expertise in solving customer problems.
  4. Present Ricoh's Print, Communication & IT Services to potential clients; create proposals including pricing, implementation strategies, and project details.
  5. Maintain accurate activity records, next steps, probabilities, communications, and forecasts in Salesforce CRM.
  6. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote new products or services to existing clients.
  7. Engage in new business prospecting, including cold calling, scheduling and conducting client meetings, and preparing presentations and proposals.
  8. Develop sales strategies for new clients, identifying target markets and creating compelling presentations.
  9. Lead the development of ongoing account plans considering marketing strategies and client objectives.
  10. Commit to ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct B2B sales experience; industry-specific experience preferred.

Skills

  • Strong negotiating skills, with the ability to handle objections and work around obstacles.
  • Experience in nurturing ongoing business relationships and quickly building meaningful client connections.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and self-motivation skills to drive results.
  • Strong analytical skills for preparing business proposals, along with effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, social media sales tools, and MS Office.
