Role Summary

Our client is seeking a Solution Architect with mobile development experience to work with a highly performing team of 30 developers across several technical disciplines: .NET, iOS, Android, Web, QA. Responsibilities

• Gather Functional Requirements
  • gain a complete sense of client expectations and limitations
  • examine existing systems and programs to identify areas for improvement and integration
• Define solutions
  • Analyze client requirements and perform gap analysis between requirements and existing platform capabilities
  • Create solution architecture document for project
  • Asist project owners with estimates and planning
• Develop Specifications
  • develop familiarity with functional requirements and existing systems
  • identify potential issues between systems and client specifications and propose new solutions to work around these limitations
  • create technical specifications that give guidance to developers for creating technical solutions, building a new feature or product
• Lead Development Teams
  • direct and oversee the activities of a team of developers, answer questions or help to resolve issues as they arise
  • ensure that specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to the development teams
  • monitor timelines and progress to ensure that team members are adhering to these specifications
  • serve as a liaison between client-facing personnel and developers
• Interface Directly with Clients
  • prepare reports and presentations, as well as demonstrations, to keep the client informed about issues that arise during development and report on integration and deployment
  • update specifications and requirements from clients throughout the development lifecycle

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• 10+ years of experience in a similar environment
• 3+ years in solutions architect
