ADS - ABM Delivery Services Team at BNS is seeking to fill a role as ATM/ABM Developer with deep hands on experience in ATM/ABM platforms, self service including Proflex, Probase, XFS and customization overlays. The ideal candidate will have development experience with hardware and software, transaction processing, networking and financial switches (Connex, FIS, etc). This role requires extensive collaboration with engineering teams, QA Engineering, solution architects, ATM/ABM vendors, knowledge of journal data and log trace analysis, PCI/DSS compliance, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security systems assessments across the ATM/ABM software and systems stack.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
  • Work independently, develop software solutions within the ATM/ABM platform. Includes hardware device interactions (ProSetup XFS), switch communications Connex NDC DCC 911/912 protocol, custom overlays and review technical capabilities of UI/UX layer to support system flows and navigation.
  • Develop coding practices that adhere to security, PCI/DSS and compliance regulatory restrictions as needed
  • Collaborate with QA Engineering, Solution Architects, infrastructure, networking, security and vendor teams as required
  • Lead code walkthrough sessions to drive the adoption of common design patterns, secure coding practices and minimize future refactoring where needed
  • Collaborate with Diebold Nixdorf and internal stakeholders as needed
  • Customize extended functionality for the ATM/ABM such as NFC Contactless workflows etc.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight to the development and QA engineering team
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
  • 3 to 5+ years' experience integrating with back end banking systems (Springboot, REST APIs etc)
  • Knowledge of GCP and cloud technologies
  • Experience working as a software developer in the ATM/ABM self-service banking domain (Diebold Nixdorf 2560 and DN450/470S) is a big plus
  • Proflex, Probase, XFS, overlay development (Java, JS, .NET, C++) is a big plus
  • Proven track record designing and delivering ATM/ABM application frameworks and transaction modules is an asset
