A leading staffing firm is seeking a Solutions IT Designer specializing in Pega applications to lead the design and delivery of enterprise solutions. This role involves end-to-end solution architecture, governance, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in Pega environments and strong design skills. This hybrid position will require 4 days onsite in Toronto, ON with a competitive pay rate of C$60 – C$70/hr.

Job Summary

As a Solutions IT Designer specializing in Pega applications, you will lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise-wide solutions for the Branch Operations Team. This role involves end-to-end solution architecture, design governance, code review, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and deliver detailed solution designs within SDS frameworks.
  • Develop functional, technical, and UI designs aligned with business and enterprise architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews for quality, standards compliance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review estimates, scope, and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to technology delivery practices, project management, and risk standards.
  • Drive cost-effective solutions while enhancing stakeholder experience.
  • Identify and address cross-capability or release integrity issues.
  • Partner with production support to analyze incidents and propose improvements.
  • Promote reuse of existing components and codify knowledge for organizational learning.
Required Experience
  • 7+ years of Pega solution design and development experience.
  • Proven experience as a senior/lead developer and SME in complex Pega environments.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise IT standards, architecture, and solution design processes.
  • Strong background in design principles, object-oriented patterns, and solution governance.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Experience with Pega upgrades and new integration development.
  • Familiarity with banking/financial services environments.
