Job description

We are currently seeking a new Software Developer, Co-op to join our Engineering team in Burnaby, Calgary or Toronto.

Applicants should be available for an 8-month co-op period from May 2025 to Dec 2025.

What your team does:

You will work on a revolutionary SaaS product, gaining experience with Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, React Native, native mobile development, MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch. You will be coached and mentored by some of the best developers and tackle challenging problems faced by a rapidly growing, venture-backed company.

What you'll work on:
  • Contributing code to the Clio suite of products;
  • Participating as a member of a Clio development team, including:
    • Scoping and planning development work;
    • Reporting progress and blockers;
    • Collaborating with team members;
    • Participating in code reviews;
    • Contributing to feature development and fixing customer issues.
  • Engaging in team and company initiatives;
  • Rotating in product support coordination;
  • Providing and receiving ongoing feedback;
  • Growing towards a professional software development career.
What you may have:
  • Completed second-year coursework and are a 3rd or 4th-year Computer Science/Engineering student;
  • Critical thinker seeking solutions;
  • Strong fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, SQL;
