What you’ll do

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver solutions that bring real value to our merchants.
• Design, build, and maintain systems and APIs that scale for high traffic.
• Debug and resolve common software issues with a problem-solving mindset.
• Own tasks related to unit tests, merge requests, and production releases.
• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle (stand-ups, reviews, retros, estimating).
• Take part in user story and requirements discussions.
• Share progress updates in relation to delivery and launch dates.
• Partner with teammates to resolve incidents and bugs quickly.
• Keep product documentation up to date and relevant.

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer with a strong grasp of software delivery processes.
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• Experience writing production-ready code that prioritizes testability, maintainability, security, and scalability.
• A collaborative mindset and eagerness to work with teammates across disciplines.
• Familiarity with PHP, Go, JavaScript, React, and Laravel is an asset.
• Bonus points for experience with ecommerce platforms like Shopify.
