Overview

Team Red Dog is looking for an experienced Software Design Engineer in Test 3 (Redmond Area) to join our global technology client's team working on cutting-edge server hardware technologies. This contract role is a unique opportunity to contribute to hardware and software development projects deployed across the Azure fleet. If you have expertise in data center/server hardware testing, development with C++ and Python, and a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, this role offers the chance to collaborate with highly skilled professionals while advancing your technical expertise.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves)
  1. 7+ years of experience testing data center/server hardware, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and test execution.
  2. 7+ years of development experience with C++ and Python to design and implement test solutions.
  3. 2+ years of experience with CI/CD processes and ADO pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  4. Strong understanding of server environments, including Windows Server and Ubuntu Server.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, with additional scripting knowledge (Rust experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ADO, and test automation.
  • Solid understanding of server environments (Azure, Windows, Linux/Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
