Who Are We?
SOAR is Scotiabank’s tailored new graduate experience that enhances the associates & analysts experience within the TILT (Talent Incubators for Leaders of Tomorrow) program by providing a culturally welcoming and supportive environment. We recognize the important contributions and etuaptmumk (two-eyed seeing) approach that Indigenous Peoples provide to society and are committed to removing systematic barriers that have made it difficult for Indigenous Peoples to obtain meaningful careers in the financial industry.
Embracing a spirit of growth and learning, SOAR will support you for the first two years of full-time employment and offers additional one-on-one support, programming, and initiatives rooted within Indigenous ways of knowing and being while in your TILT program. Think of this experience like an Indigenous Student Services Center. This experience empowers you with additional skills, allowing you to thrive within the spaces of Scotiabank, Tangerine, and other communities. Whether it be public speaking, community involvement, or those excel spreadsheet formulas, this program will create a pathway to a long-term career with Scotiabank.
