A local childcare provider in Victoria is seeking a full-time Administrative Officer to manage day-to-day operations, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance with procedures. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of office administration experience and a secondary school diploma. Competitive pay of $34-$37/hour with benefits including 10 days of paid vacation.

· Wage: $34.00-$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

Job Duties:
· Oversee and carry out the day-to-day administrative activities of the daycare to ensure smooth and efficient operations
· Perform accurate and timely data entry to maintain up-to-date records
· Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and consistency in daycare operations
· Establish work priorities, monitor workflow, and ensure that procedures are followed
· Administer policies for releasing records in compliance with access to information and privacy regulations
· Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls to support financial efficiency
· Compile data and prepare periodic reports, special documentation, manuals, and correspondence to support administrative functions
· Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely compensation for staff
Job requirements:
· Experience: 2-3 years of office administration experience is required
· Education: Completion of secondary school is required
