The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Labourer to join our team in the Fraser Valley supporting civil construction projects across the region.

As a Labourer, you’ll work alongside a skilled crew in the field to deliver high‑quality work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building their skills, working outdoors, and being part of projects that shape communities.

Although we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work in accordance with company and WorkSafeBC standards.
  • Perform general labour tasks (site cleanup, material handling, basic tool use).
  • Support crews and equipment operators with ground assistance and spotting.
  • Help with mobilization/demobilization and basic care of tools and small equipment.
  • Assist with measurements, layout, and quality checks as directed.
  • Set up and maintain safe work areas, signage, and basic traffic control as directed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Participate in daily/weekly site meetings.
Your Qualifications & Skills
  • 1‑3 years Civil Construction experience.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable working around heavy equipment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and safely in a team environment.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean abstract required.
  • First Aid Training an asset.
  • Grading and Pipelaying experience is considered an asset.
