Job description
POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Site Manager (Site Superintendent) will oversee and manage all on-site activities for our commercial construction projects. Primary responsibilities include ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining quality standards and adhering to regulations. This client-facing role will collaborate with franchise owners, trades, subcontractors, building officials, and other Archmill House/Solutions team members. This position requires extensive travel and onsite work based on project schedule. Projects typically last from one to four weeks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other construction-related personnel, providing guidance to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work progress, conduct regular inspections, address deviations from plans to maintain high standards. Own the Re-Image brand standards and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, protocols, and company policies on-site.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, work logs, and incident reports.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve delays, conflicts, or technical issues to keep timelines intact.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in commercial construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in constructability analysis and providing guidance to trades.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency and adaptability for fast-paced timelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
  • Relevant certifications or licenses are advantageous.
  • Must have a valid passport.
WORK CONDITIONS
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 90% of the time.
  • Work in a construction setting with loud noises.
  • Personal Protective Equipment is required.
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects over 35 lbs.
  • Overnight work may be required based on project needs.
