Work Location: Eliwana - Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

Roster:4D/3R – FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Shutdown Superintendent, the Shutdown Coordinator’s role is to deliver safe and successful shutdown campaigns, including shutdown execution, scope management and vendor engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong safety commitment in line with the Fortescue values
• Plan shutdown execution framework within a planning rhythm, working closely with asset owners, planning department and shutdown schedulers
• Develop resource requirements and engage vendor partners for all shutdown outages
• Manage asset reliability with maintenance tasks by engaging with the asset owners and planning against budgetary requirements
• Management of vendor resources ensuring safety of personnel, quality of work completed and managing completion against planned and scheduled maintenance
• Review and optimise shutdown scopes
• Lead the execution of shutdowns

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in shutdowns and mechanical maintenance within a fixed plant processing facility leading trade personnel
• Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Ability to work cohesively in a highly dynamic team environment
• Demonstrate excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines and milestones
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and computerised maintenance management systems, SAP experience is desirable
• Mechanical Trade Qualification
