THE POSITION

Working with our Software Services team, you will workwith a wide range of clients in Media and Entertainment,helpingthem build and improve their Production Pipelines through custom software tools and integrations.You willact asaliaisonbetweenClients and the internal GPL Team. Youwillmanage projects, lead client training and on-boarding, andmaintainclient relationships. Your mission is to work closely with clients, understand their user stories, and translate them into efficient artist workflows in collaboration withour team. You will work on a variety of projects across a range of disciplines, collaborating with engineers, artists, developers, producers, and operations experts. You will bring your years of experience and passion for the industry to the team,identifyingcurrent production needs as well asanticipatingnew opportunities down the road.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing or scheduling product and workflow setup,trainingand ongoing client support, conducting client health checks,identifyingopportunities to expand relationships, up-selling/cross-selling newproductsor services, andmaintainingelevated level of influence over the clientlifecycle.
  • Ensuring that customers derive maximum value from their engagement with the GPL Software Services Teambyhavingsuccessful project engagements,identifyingnew opportunities, and educatingclients on all GPL core services.
  • Participating in, andprovidingrecommendations on,workflow and document reviews.
  • Monitoring customer projects, usage data, health indicators, and growth opportunities andtranslateinto strategies for success.
  • Working with the team to troubleshoot problems quicklyandefficiently.
  • Contributing thought leadership and best practices, both internally and externally, around new production workflows, tools, and industry trends.
  • Working with the team to document internal processes, workflows,toolsand training methods.
  • Responding to partner and customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Working with client’s Development, QA and UAT teams to ensure successful implementation of projects and releases.
  • Workingclosely with the engineering team to ensure that all toolsfollow a high-quality standard.
  • Analyzingclient needs and workflows, recommendingbest practices,andconfiguringtools to suit the identified needs.
THE CANDIDATE

You have adeep knowledge of Shotgun and Shotgun Toolkit, complemented by 5+yearsexperiencein Animation and/or Visual Effects Production Management or equivalent. You are comfortable working with DCC software like Maya and Nuke, as well asrevision tools such asGithub. You have experience with editing settings files inYaml, Json ora similar platform. You have a deep knowledge and passion for production, pipeline, and workflowsand are committed to continuous learning.

While notrequired, you will strengthen your application with:

  • Familiaritywith other production tracking solutions such as NIM, F-Track, FileMaker
