A leading energy company in Canada is seeking a Fixed Term Shipping & Receiving Operator to manage the loading and unloading process of hazardous materials and finished products. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, a high school diploma, and WHMIS certifications. This is a 6-month fixed term contract offering competitive compensation and a range of benefits.
As a Fixed Term Shipping & Receiving Operator, you will be responsible for the rotation of Irving's Blending and Packaging Production and Warehouse inventory and loading/unloading of delivery vehicles. Your goal will be to ensure all hazardous raw materials, damaged goods, or finished product shipments are loaded/unloaded, inspected, counted, staged, sorted, wrapped, rotated, and stored. Your success will be evident by how effectively Customer requirements and shipments are fulfilled in a timely manner to meet on time delivery schedule and commitments.
Kindly note this is a 6 month fixed term contract.
