Description

Aston Carter's client in Abbotsford is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the day-to‑day tasks associated with shipping, production, and computer inventory system control at the plant.

Duties
  • Support production needs by providing work orders for manufacturing, data entry, and inventory supply of consumable items. Enter all data on an inventory management system, ensuring input items equal output items.
  • Assist with data entry of production and shipping tallies into an inventory management system.
  • Assist with creating work orders, labels, and barcodes.
  • Provide updates to management on status of work orders and daily production.
  • Perform physical inventory checks.
  • Review detailed inventory position reports for production priorities and plan production schedules daily.
  • Conduct spot inventory cycle counts, matching all products to the inventory management system.
  • Daily filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning of documents.
  • Assist with other duties as required.
  • Adhere to all work safety rules and regulations.
