Hourly Rate: $41.58/hour

Opportunity

The Shipper/Receiver is a Procurement role with responsibility for supporting various refinery business partners by performing a variety of warehousing tasks. The qualified candidate must have knowledge and experience with receiving, stocking, inventory management, kitting, packaging and shipping.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to IIF and Safety and Loss Prevention.
  • Loading and unloading of shipments using materials handling equipment or hand-bombing.
  • Perform Receiving operations including unpacking of deliveries, doing a three-way match to confirm accuracy of orders, checking the condition of incoming materials, entering transactions in the business system and filing all related documentation.
  • Put away received materials into inventory locations or contact recipients for direct deliver orders.
  • Work with Procurement to rectify PO errors/omissions/discrepancies.
  • Manually pick and kit scheduled Work Orders from inventory or from materials purchased directly for jobs.
  • Perform periodic inventory cycle counts and enter count data in the business system.
  • Return excess Work Order materials back to stock.
  • Package and arrange shipments with freight service providers. Complete necessary shipping documentation.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  • Able to organize work, meet deadlines and manage a variable work schedule.
  • Able to work independently with strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve effectively.
  • Able to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
  • The shift for this role is Tuesday - Friday.
Requirements
  • Sit-down counterbalance Forklift Certification.
  • Previous training or ability to take training for Transportation of Dangerous Goods (ground and air), WHMIS, and shipping documentation.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ warehousing experience in a similar industry.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with a preference for JDE or SAP.
  • Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook, MS Word & MS Excel.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with standard financial controls and implications of transactions in business systems.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to meet the GO-308 physical job requirements.
  • A valid Positive Metal Identification (PMI) certificate or ability to complete PMI training.
  • A Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
