Overview

Position: Shift Supervisor
Location: Winnipeg
Schedule: Monday to Sunday
Availability: 7:30a.m to 3:30p.m and 3:30p.m to 11:30p.m

Position Overview

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that security services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with client expectations. This position acts as the primary liaison between site staff, Property Management, and Paladin Security. The successful candidate will provide leadership, support, and guidance to security personnel, always ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day shift operations.
  • Conduct training, site orientation, and ongoing coaching for new and existing staff.
  • Act as the site Incident Commander during emergencies or critical incidents.
  • Review, update, and enforce post orders and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, patrols, and CCTV monitoring to maintain safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
  • Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
  • A clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Security Supervisor, or equivalent leadership experience in security services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.

  • First Aid, CPR Level C
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
  • Minimum 1 year of Security Supervisory Experience
  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Authorized to legally work in Canada
  • Valid Class 5 License
