Overview

CFMWS - WHERE PURPOSE MEETS PASSION!

At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we’re a community dedicated to supporting Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and their families in their daily lives. We carefully curate and provide programs and services to meet their unique needs and enhance well-being in mental, social, physical, financial and familial aspects. CFMWS delivers programs and services including recreation, sports and fitness programs, customized financial services, retail services, access to retail savings and discounts, family support and charity events.

Our success stems from living our values. Our employees care about their role in supporting CAF members, veterans and their families and act with integrity in all they do. We thrive in a close-knit environment, acting as one team with one mission. We constantly seek new ideas to deliver the best possible programs and services. We offer a commitment to your health, wellness and growth and provide a diverse range of roles across many locations.

The Role

As a Shift Supervisor, you provide retail services to a unique client base — members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) — and you help the community by addressing customer concerns to ensure satisfaction and by authorizing refunds, voids, and returns. You hold keys, safe combinations, and access codes, and you open and close the store as required. You supervise employees.

The Shift Supervisor may provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sale systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.

This is a role where everyone works as one team using modernized technology and an understanding of the unique pressures and rewards of military service to provide the best customer experience for our members and to simplify and improve their lives. If you thrive in a customer-focused environment and in a culture that is passionate about exceeding customer expectations, this is the opportunity for you.
