A leading educational institution seeks a Sessional Lecturer to teach English 110 at the Moosomin First Nation. The role requires a Master’s degree and knowledge of Indigenous cultures. The commitment includes coursework from September 2025 to April 2026 in a community-focused environment, with potential opening based on enrollment limits.
The Department of English in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the 2025-2026 session:
Course Details:
Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in English or related discipline, with relevant teaching or professional experience. Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit cultures, and understanding of socio-economic and pedagogical factors relevant to teaching Indigenous students, are required.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include preparation and marking days. Courses may be canceled due to low enrollment.
