Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm is seeking a ServiceNow Architect in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves over 10 years of ServiceNow development experience and a strong background in ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules. You will design, implement solutions, and lead the support team to deliver effective results. Ideal candidates must have excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile projects. This is a contract position lasting over 6 months with a possibility of extension.

Job description

Title: ServiceNow Architect

Duration:6+ months of Contract with possible extension of hire

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
• Have strong experience in ITSM//ITOM/ITAM modules
• Define, design and implement ServiceNow solutions aligning to business requirements
• Provide technical consultation in terms of using ServiceNow best practices for implementations
• Create technical implementation strategies from business requirements
• Implement ServiceNow solutions in all applications/modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript), integrations (REST, SOAP), Flow Designer, workflows, Virtual Agent.
• Have experience in CMDB
• Experienced in Service Level management and SLA configuration
• ServiceNow Agent workspace
• Lead ServiceNow support team of configuration, development, and new features/plugins, investigate complex issues and review code as required.
• Design ServiceNow technical solutions and provide detailed specifications for those proposed solutions as required.
• Serve as a thought leader, to influence and develop scalable strategies, frameworks, and architectures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to steer the best decisions and drive the right business outcomes.
• Ensure that new development does not negatively impact performance and monitor performance using instance observe.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience in working in Agile projects
