Job description
Overview

This position is based out of NorthBattleford. Our Sales department sells our water conditioning systems, and other products to new and existing customers within our district. Our Service Technicians travel daily to install and maintain this top quality Culligan water treatment equipment. The Service Technicians are responsible for installation and maintenance while working alongside each location’s Branch Supervisor and Service Coordinator and Sales Representatives as required.

Kaschls’ Culligan Service Technicians work with our Sales and Service Coordinator to service customers in a timely manner for the highest productivity. Our Service Technicians are the face of the company and must establish and maintain a professional relationship with all parties involved in day to day operations, as well as have excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading your vehicle.
  • Performing pre-trip vehicle inspections as required.
  • Job time management.
  • Arranging payments from customers as required.
  • Maintain tool kit.
  • Vehicle inventory.
  • Installations.
  • Filter changes.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers.
  • Vehicle cleanliness inside and out as per Company Policy.
  • Preventative vehicle maintenance.
  • Building equipment based on specs provided.
  • Servicing, maintaining both Culligan and non-Culligan equipment.
  • Relaying information to customers regarding service to be done and service completed.
  • Billing customers based on pricing outlined by head office.
  • Keeping service area clean and tidy.
  • Relaying required inventory to Sales and Service Coordinator for ordering.
  • Maintaining retail units, returned, refurbished units.
  • Ability to diagnose over the phone and on site service issues.
  • Communicating daily with Service Coordinator services to be completed.
  • Relaying any information daily to Service Coordinator regarding call backs and unfinished work.
  • Perform services/installations based on schedule outlined by the Service Coordinator.
  • Ability to perform/read water test to recommend equipment services needed.
  • Ability to install equipment based on notes, pictures, specs provided; be able to communicate with sales regarding installation questions.
  • Safety-conscious and productive performance of all assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision; works alone and as a team.
  • A class 5 or better driver's license.
  • A clean driving record (annual abstract required).
  • Criminal record check by RCMP.
  • Must be able to lift/carry 50+ lbs.
  • Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling.
