About the Role

As the Service Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth service operations by overseeing the scheduling and dispatch of technicians and contractors to customer sites. Supporting your local branch and as a member of the regional team, you will manage work orders, organize routes, handle service documentation, and process invoices—all to guarantee that maintenance and deficiency tasks for specialized fire and life-safety equipment are completed accurately and promptly in a fast-moving work environment.

This position provides a range of diverse tasks to support our service delivery team and processes. It will be an ideal role for you if you enjoy working collaboratively with a team, balancing priorities and tasks to meet evolving customer needs, having diversity in your day between administrative work and hands‑on operations, and taking pride in keeping organized and 'making quality personal' in a customer‑focused service environment.

What You Bring
  • Experience in service coordination, dispatch, or operations (field service, property management, logistics, or similar), ideally supporting field-based technicians or contractors
  • Experience in a mechanical, technical, or service‑based work environment, or a strong aptitude for understanding how equipment and systems operate
  • Strong working knowledge of work orders, scheduling, quoting and service documentation
  • Experience with Field Service Management (FSM) systems such as Infor Service Management (ISM) or ServiceTitan is an asset
  • Naturally organized with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently, make decisions, and adapt as situations evolve
  • Thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day to meet the needs of our customers and technicians

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch technicians and contractors
  • Manage daily routing, rosters, and shifting service priorities to meet customer demands
  • Create and maintain work orders, quotes, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Support maintenance and deficiency tracking
  • Coordinate logistics including inventory, parts, and warranty items
  • Maintain accurate service records related to contracts, sites, and claims
  • Communicate with technicians, customers, and operations to support service delivery
