Job Title

SEO Analyst

Location

Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1PS (on the Metropolitan Line outside London). Optional 2 days per week remote working.

Contract

Permanent.

Salary

£30,000 – £35,000 per annum.

Holiday

35 days per annum including bank holidays, increasing to 38 days after 2 years.

Hours

9am – 5.30pm Mon‑Fri (flexible working with core hours 10am – 4pm). Hybrid working; 5 days onsite, 2 remote.

SEO Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a talented SEO Analyst with strong content writing skills and the ability to analyse website data to join our team. Reporting into the SEO Manager, you will develop and implement SEO strategies across fantastic charity clients, including some of the largest and most well‑known charities in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy
    with clients to clarify priorities and objectives; opportunity and competitor analysis; build strategies and roadmaps using advanced SEO knowledge.
  • Content SEO
    Deliver organic content strategies; perform keyword research; build content calendars; optimise on‑page content and add additional content as needed.
  • Digital PR
    Analyse backlink portfolio; identify backlink gaps and opportunities; pitch guest posts and generate newsworthy coverage; develop Digital PR strategies.
  • Technical SEO
    Review websites, flag opportunities for improvement; implement technical quick wins; use Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, etc.; support developers with SEO improvements.
  • Reporting
    Analyse and deliver monthly client SEO performance reports; identify key performance trends; benchmark and forecast; use Google Analytics and Search Console to spot changes.
  • Client Communication
    Champion heart‑felt camaraderie with all clients; communicate via email, phone, video call and in person; respond to client needs promptly; provide transparent data access.
Requirements
  • Passion for SEO with considerable and demonstrable experience.
  • Excellent writing skills for informative and engaging web copy.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, projects and deadlines.
  • Strong technical mindset; able to solve difficult problems.
  • Experience with leading SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
  • Collaboration skills with other departments, including Paid Media.
  • Adaptability and versatility.
  • Preferable experience working in an agency and with not‑for‑profit organisations/charities.
