  • Conduct competitive analysis and learn industry standards to leverage best practices and innovate for customers
  • Produce product prototypes to facilitate user testing activities
  • Own your product area and create vision documents, iteration plans, and strategy decks to advocate for design direction in a lean, build–measure–learn, Agile environment
  • Collaborate with Product and Development to implement UX designs and continually iterate to deliver optimal user experience
  • Advocate for the ROI of user-centered design with business partners, using solid design rationale to guide decisions
  • Provide feedback and guidance to fellow designers to elevate the practice of design at Aviso

  • Attention to detail and ability to convert disparate information into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to conduct user research, write test plans, derive insights, and present results to stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse audiences
  • Online portfolio demonstrating design rationale, not just finished screens
  • Familiarity with the investment or financial services industries is an asset

  • Fluent English; bilingual in French is an asset
