About the role

We are seeking a resourceful and intuitive UX designer who thrives on turning complex challenges into user-friendly solutions. Your work will be integral to creating an exceptional user experience and ensuring that our product meets the evolving needs of our customers.

Our UX team is a dynamic and collaborative group composed of a UX researcher, UX designers, and a UX writer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in our iterative design process. You'll be responsible for conceptualizing new features and products while also enhancing the usability and visual appeal of existing features.

What you'll do

• Become an Everflow product expert.
• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, designers, writers and developers to develop and iterate on user-centered design solutions.
• Advocate for user needs and ensure that design decisions align with the findings from user research.
• Create wireframes and design mockups that effectively communicate the intended user experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in user experience.
• Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture, sharing knowledge and insights to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English is required
• Excellent communicator with verbal and written skills
• 5 to 7 years of practical experience in user experience design and creation of user interfaces.
• Excellent understanding of user-centred design practices and a desire to understand user needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in tools such as Figjam, Figma, Zeplin, Adobe CC, etc.
• Collaborative ability and ability to build positive relationships with cross-departmental teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating a diversity of relevant work that encompasses UX expertise, interaction design, creativity and critical thinking.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity at times and quickly iterating your way to a well-thought-out solution.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence (an asset)

Compensation Package:

Base Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 CAD
