As a Sr Underwriter, Commercial Auto, you will:
- Review and evaluate large, complex account applications to determine risk, coverage, and premiums.
- Accept or reject applications based on policies, procedures, standards, and authority levels.
- Promote, underwrite, and quote new business, renewals, and endorsements in line with company policies and objectives.
- Negotiate coverage and rates; participate in underwriting audits.
- Complete necessary documentation for your business.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with brokers.
- Support team goals, including profitability and premium targets.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced staff.

To join our team:
- 5-7 years of Commercial Auto Underwriting experience, including underwriting new business.
- Experience with auto and transportation, focusing on medium to large accounts.
- Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.
- Proven ability to build lasting relationships with broker partners.
