A leading aerospace company in Halifax, NS is seeking a UAS Technician to support the maintenance and operation of uncrewed aircraft systems. The role involves travel to various customer locations, assembling and testing UAS, and participating in safety management. Candidates should have an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification and experience in manned aircraft maintenance. We are looking for a UAS Technician that will work primarily from Halifax NS and is also flexible to travel to our customer locations in Canada, United States or around the world, as necessary.

The Role: As a UAS Technician with MDA Space, you will support the delivery and sustainment of a fleet of Schiebel S-100 CAMCOPTER Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS, also referred to as Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)) and its payloads to support the Royal Canadian Navy’s (RCN) domestic and international operations. You will be part of a team assembling, testing and maintaining a fleet of UAS. This role could require travel to the OEM’s facilities for training and to the customer’s facilities to provide support as a Field Service Representative (FSR).
