This role involves preparing corporate income tax and supporting documentation, maintaining tax control documentation, and assisting with financial statement audits. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of relevant experience, are CPA designated or working towards it, and are proficient in Microsoft Excel. The position is based in Toronto, ON, requiring a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• CPA designated or working towards CPA designation (or other recognized accounting designation or MTAX degree).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of corporate income tax and information returns.
• Assist in managing requests and queries during the review of financial statements.
• Assist with the management of corporate legal entity tax matters.

Skills

3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Mining industry experience

French and/or Spanish knowledge

Education

CPA designated or working towards CPA designation

Willingness to complete CPA Canada’s In-depth Tax Course

MTAX degree
