A leading financial institution in Toronto is seeking a qualified individual to manage US tax reporting and compliance. The role involves ensuring accurate withholding, developing documented procedures, and identifying discrepancies in tax reporting. Ideal candidates will have a university degree or equivalent experience, strong data handling skills, and familiarity with QI & FATCA guidelines. What is the opportunity?
As a Qualified Intermediary and Model 1 FFI we are responsible for ensuring US tax reporting/withholding and remittance is done to the IRS on a timely basis. In this role, you will be responsible for all activities with respect to QI & FATCA withholding, remittance and reporting of US source income to the IRS for RBC Investor Services Trust and Royal Bank of Canada custody accounts.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
The expected pay range for this position is: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00. The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
