Reporting to the Structural Section Manager, the Senior Structural Engineer contributes structural engineering knowledge and analysis during the design phase, with a focus on water retaining structures. The project mix includes building and non-building structures, in collaboration with HDR’s Water, Resources, and Transportation Business Groups. The role involves working on multiple projects in various locations and may include construction contract administration, site inspections, condition assessments, peer reviews, and quality reviews. The successful candidate will mentor teammates and support the development of design and construction documentation processes. Common paths for progression include technical specialization and project management.
