Job summary

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in administration/management of threat detection and protection technologies.
  • Ability to drive problems to resolution and lead initiatives.
  • Experience in security and privacy enhancing technologies is an asset.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with security, application and infrastructure teams to provide updates and knowledge on all threat protection activities.
  • Evolve security procedures, develop use cases and documentation to establish outstanding capabilities to protect, detect, respond and remediate.
  • Work with security technology and infrastructure vendor partners to improve the maturity of existing platforms, explore new technologies, conduct research and testing.
  • Leverage security technology vendor relationships, contacts and experience to help lead, build and maintain the technical currency to protect and react swiftly and contain cyber threats.
  • Apply deep understanding of security tools, technologies, security threats, tactics, techniques and procedures used by threat actors, security and enterprise level IT Engineering, operations, processes and incident management to be successful.
What You’ll Need
  • Progressive experience in administration/management of threat detection and/or protection technologies.
  • Ability to own and lead initiatives, drive problems to resolution, and a passion for continuous learning and development.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of security and privacy enhancing technologies are an asset.
