Overview
What is the opportunity? Develops solution architecture (SA) and resolves complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support and project supervision. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze current state environment and technology choices to evaluate solution alternatives.
- Engage with Insurance vendors and Partners to understand possible solutions and their respective architectures and how they might integrate to the Insurance platform.
- Define end to end technical solution that take into account the enterprise architecture strategies, current state environment and constraints. Analyze the viability of the solution to meet project timeline, budget and quality.
- Create solution architecture blueprint and drive all Athena and ARB certifications to closure
- Identify opportunities to improve solution's resilience, reusability, complexity, security etc. and build them into project solutions.
- Identify technical issues and risks and define mitigation approach.
- Raise awareness of associated tech and operational debt that could arise from tactical approaches.
- Provide technical leadership to the project from the idea creation stage.
What you need to succeed
Must-have
- Typically requires 5 to 7 years of related experience in Solution Architecture or a senior technical role including experience in application design.
- Advanced knowledge of industry practices, with focus on micro services, cloud application design, API design, messaging design patterns, and domain driven design
- Advanced experience in a variety of environments (Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases)
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective negotiation skills, stakeholder management
- Ability to influence across multiple squads and stakeholders
Nice-to-have
- Data architecture and data modeling
- Insurance industry experience
